What We Do in Herne Bay
Herne Bay has a lot of bungalows and family homes with conservatories, and plenty of seafront properties. Most of our work here is replacing windows, doors and conservatory roofs.
Conservatories and warm roofs
Older conservatories can be too hot in summer and cold in winter. A solid warm roof fixes that without replacing the whole structure. See our conservatories and warm roofs page.
Replacement windows
Made-to-measure uPVC and aluminium windows, including large bay windows on bungalows. See our replacement windows.
Front and back doors
Composite front doors and uPVC back doors with secure multipoint locking. See our door services.
Bifold and patio doors
Aluminium bifolds and sliding doors to open your living space onto the garden.
Glass balustrades
Glass balustrades for balconies and terraces, ideal on seafront homes. See our glass balustrades page.
Larger repairs
Several misted panes, a patio door that has dropped or windows that no longer close properly. We survey them all and quote for the lot. More on double glazing repairs.
Bungalows, Conservatories and Seafront Homes
Herne Bay mixes Victorian and Edwardian houses near the seafront and town centre with large areas of bungalows and post-war homes in Beltinge, Greenhill and Hampton. Bungalows often have big bay windows and a conservatory at the back, and both are worth upgrading together. Seafront homes face strong winds off the sea, so good seals and strong locking matter.
